While some are looking at the stars for answers, Pigeon Island are looking at the ocean for solutions. The impact of unsustainable commercial fishing and recreation in our oceans and waterways has led to a change in the marine eco systems on a global scale, for the worst.

Approximately 17% of sharks and their relatives are threatened, an additional 13% are considered near Threatened. A quarter of the worlds marine mammals are threatened and 27% of the world marine birds are also under threat.

When it comes to the future of our oceans and the life they hold, it’s our resposability to instil the knowelage and education in it’s future protectors, our children.
